Remanier, métaphrases: functions et techniques de la réécriture dans le monde byzantin

The international French-Serbian Meeting Remanier, métaphrases: functions et techniques de la réécriture dans le monde byzantin was held in Belgrade at the Faculty of Philosophy from 9-12 September 2010 in the organization of the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, University of Sorbonne–Paris IV, Institute for Byzantine Studies of the SASA and Centre pour l’histoire et la civilization byzantine de Collège de France, Paris. 15 researchers from France and Serbia participated in this event, among them academicians, university professors, eminent experts in the field of Byzantine studies and Ph.D students. Some of the associates of the Institute for Byzantine Studies were also among the participants. This meeting thematically limited to the functions and techniques of transcription in the Byzantine world represented a great opportunity for both French and Serbian scholars to exchange their experiences and results in this field. The proceedings of this event also named Remanier, métaphrases: functions et techniques de la réécriture dans le monde byzantin were published by the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade in 2011.
